What is A514 Steel?
A514 is a conventional quenched and tempered alloy steel plate designed 亚博系列全平台入口 structural applications. A514 steel is available in a variety of chemistries: B, E, F, H, Q, and S. While all of these grades have slightly different chemical properties, the mechanical properties remain the same 亚博系列全平台入口 all.

Welding
A514 has excellent weldability and can be welded with simple procedures. Ideal welding wires include our聽Tensaweld Workmate聽亚博系列全平台入口 general purposes and聽Tensaweld Nickel-90聽亚博系列全平台入口 increased tensile strength in the weld joint.
Cutting
A514 can be cut with plasma, oxy-Acetylene, laser, and water jet, as well as with abrasive cut off saws.
Machining
Drilling, countersinking, counterboring, tapping, milling, and general machining can be done with conventional equipment and carbide tools.
