Thermal Treatment
Cutting & Machining
Cutting and machining Tensamang鈩� steel are not automatic. Our Tensamang鈩� steel plate has been designed with cutting and machining ease in mind. It can be cut with plasma, oxy-Acetylene, laser, and water jet as well as with abrasive cut-off saws, thereby eliminating the need to acquire costly new cutting tools. Although not considered a machinable grade, Clifton Steel has the experience and the know-how to drill, tap, machine and grind our Tensamang鈩� steel to meet your fabrication requirements. Welding
Welding of our Tensamang鈩� steel is easily accomplished with Clifton Steel鈥檚聽Tensaweld Mang-312 wire. Ductility will be increased in the fusion zone by peening.聽Preheating of our Tensamang鈩� steel is not recommended.聽
